Our journey

Hope was founded from Snigdha’s passion for supporting researchers in scientific writing and academic communication, an initiative she began during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2021. What started as a small effort to assist with research articles gradually evolved into a deeper professional commitment. Recognising the growing need for structured scientific writing support, she made the decision to leave her role as a project scientist at ICAR NRCB in 2023 to establish Hope as a dedicated scientific writing service. Since then, the organisation has expanded steadily, now comprising a team of over thirty professionals, including full-time, part-time, and freelance contributors. A defining aspect of Hope is its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for skilled individuals, particularly women who may be unable to pursue conventional workplace roles due to personal circumstances. By enabling them to contribute through remote scientific writing and research support, Hope not only fosters financial independence but also strengthens the quality and diversity of its services. Through this vision, Hope continues to grow as a collaborative and inclusive platform, combining professional expertise with social impact in the field of scientific communication.

Our vision

At Hope, our vision is to redefine academic and scientific support through a strong commitment to excellence, integrity, and accessibility. We aim to create an environment where students, researchers, and professionals, irrespective of their background or location, can access high- quality guidance and resources. We strive to empower individuals to realise their full potential by offering tailored support, expert insight, and dependable assistance across diverse academic and research needs. Our goal is to become a trusted partner in their academic and professional journeys, supporting them in navigating complex challenges with confidence. Through innovation, transparency, and a focus on quality, we seek to establish higher standards in scientific writing and academic support. Ultimately, we aspire to make a meaningful and lasting contribution by enabling individuals
